Pipefitter – Llantrisant
We are currently recruiting 1 x Pipefitter for an industrial installation project based in Llantrisant, South Wales.
Location: Llantrisant, CF72
Start Date: 20th July 2026
⏳ Duration: 10 weeks
Rates
- £33.00 per hour – Local Rate
- £35.00 per hour – Travelling Rate
Hours
- 10–11 hour shifts
The Role
Working as part of an experienced mechanical installation team, your duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and isometrics.
- Measuring, cutting and preparing pipework.
- Installing and fitting pipework ready for welding.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
Ideal Experience
Successful candidates will have previous experience working on industrial mechanical installation projects, ideally within:
- Chemical processing plants.
- Resin, polymer or specialty chemical manufacturing facilities.
- COMAH or hazardous industrial sites.
- Pharmaceutical or process manufacturing environments.
- Water treatment and utility plants.
- Oil & Gas, petrochemical or other heavy process industries.
Experience installing carbon steel and stainless steel process pipework, working from engineering drawings and isometrics, and preparing pipework for coded welders is highly desirable. Previous experience working on live process plant shutdowns, upgrades or capital projects would also be advantageous.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card plus relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Proven industrial Pipefitting experience.
- Ability to work independently from engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.
